With the rise of all the New AI apps recently, starting to unroll, I took the time out to try one Called @Restyle that makes it extremely easy to generate cartoon like pictures.
As you can see in the first picture, (I had to convince myself to take), I tried to use this app to generate multiple variations of my original photo & here were the end results.
There is a community called AJ that stands for a @algorithmicjustice that fights against artificial intelligent biases. I’ve been a member of this community since 2020 even though I don’t keep up much because of my own research and discoveries!
However, as you can see, this is a prime example of how software & artificial intelligence can be bias! The one you see to the left for me was the closest it actually got to the original photo of me, and as I kept trying to generate new AI versions of myself it slowly, or should I say rapidly, started to decline in accuracy! The color of my skin started to change as well as the age proximity! It was definitely off!
My belief for the reasoning behind this is the recognition software that they are using (most likely a 3rd party) that has issues detecting both age race. Do I think it’s intentional, or intentionally done by #Restyle? No!
However, I am just pointing out the problems that are coming our way with so many companies that will jump to utilize Artificial Intelligence! Although super fast 💨 super accurate 🤔it can make mistakes and I believe in the future it will be the cause of many problems from lawsuits to injustices!

Quietly, the same 2 companies that won the majority of web 2, are now winning quietly on web 3! Most people use ChatGPT because, let’s face it, for the most part, it’s excellent and it’s all that many people know!
However, there are plenty of other apps, chatbots, LLMs, (whatever you prefer to call it), that are super awesome at what they do as well!
One in particular is @MetaAI! I call it, the most slept on #AI model! But I think the way we all jumped from MySpace to Facebook, and from yahoo to google, I think we are all about to do it again!
